the colder months are just around the corner, here are some fashion trend items to add to you closet & keep warm, especially when you live in Canada!

Layer a denim jacket or add a thick vintage inspire pair of jeans with some embroidery, patches or color block.

lace layer

Lingerie inspired items have been trendy for a few seasons now, but for winter, layer a lace slip dress over or under a thick sweater, or had a cute lace tank over a long sleeve top

mesh overlay

Add a mesh shirt over a basic tee or wear a long sleeve mesh bodysuit over a cute lace bra

puffy coat

We've seen RiRi wear a bright pink one, really extravagant, but retailers took it to a more commercial level. Wear your puffy jacket with pretty much anything ! The oversized cut makes it easy to layer over all your favorite outfits 

souvenir bomber

If you don't own a bomber, what are you doing with your life???? bomber jackets became a staple last season. for f/w 2016, go for the souvenir style bomber with baseball sleeves, embroidery and a vintage look.Most seen in a satin fabric and/or with quilting. 

cold shoulder sweater

You love your cute cold shoulder crop top from summer? well no worries, they come in sweaters too! don't be scared to be cold with the one from last season, just get a knit and you'll be safe for the colder months

colored faux fur

We knew that faux fur was a statement for accessories&footwear, but now it's becoming one in apparel. Retailers are adding pops of colours adding bright faux fur trims to jackets.

Chanel SS17 - Data Center show

IT'S CHANEL SHOW DAY !!!!!!!

Everyone who knows me, knows how obsessed i am with Chanel and how I dream of walking on one of Karl Lagerfeld's runway.. one day..... Today was the well anticipated show for spring/summer 17 at the Grand Palais in Paris. Every year we know Karl makes something big; either really extravagant like bringing a glacier in the venue (f/w 2010) or shocking and saying a message like the feminist protest (ss 15). This year, he made a statement about where our world and the future is going - Robots and computers. The show was set up like a data center with wires and boxes computer like and it started with 2 robots a mix of daft punk and star wars like.

The looks were Chanel appropriate with the tweed suits with a twist, worn with baseball caps and bright colours. He had a set with some flowy dresses multi-coloured and a set of chic lingerie like lace dresses. Everything was very 90s and still, no high heels for the models. But pretty happy that he kept some of the Chanel trademarks like the tweed and the navy/pale pink colours.

For the futuristic design, he made the classic Chanel Bags LIGHT UP. yup. How cool is that??

SS17 fashion shows - Highlights

Fashion week is soon coming to an end, and I wanted to highlight some trends and some of my favourite looks from europeen fashion weeks. It goes sooooo fast, couldn't keep up with the blog post BUT I still have a review.

Some trends we were seeing again were mesh, athletic looks, oversized tops/jackets, bralettes, florals, leather. We've been also seeing a lot of flatforms, jugle fever (animal prints), big puffy sleeves reminding of pirates, feathers accents. Everything is extravagant.

 Here are some of my favourites looks.

I also wanted to separate Balmain because IT WAS LIFEEEE. those looks were everything. olivier rousteing really did the MOST for this collection. Love everything about it TBH. The silk, the mesh, the booooobs, the earthy colours, the shininess, looove. BACK TO SCHOOL 2016

The back to school season is right here, even though I am not going back (sad) I thought I could highlight the trends for this year and show some outfit ideas.

90s grunge 

It's alllll about the throwback and layering! This theme is one of the biggest I'd say in this BTS season. Plaid shirts (preferably tied around the waist), statement tees, distressed denim or raw edge denim, slip dress over a white crop tee, choker necklace, patch details, bomber jacket and more. Here are a couple of looks to help you style this theme.

Sport Sleek

This theme is about making the athletic clothe look chic and trendy. First and biggest key item for this trend would be the bomber jacket. Lightweight bombers, satin bomber, poly-filled bomber.... alllll the bombers ! Paired with a baseball hat This theme is more simple in colour: earth tones (beiges, black, greys, olive) changing the prints and logos for textures and different fabrics.

This theme is full of bold and bright prints. It allows a smooth transition from summer to fall with floral and tribal prints in its main focus. A lot of embroidery and embellishment with layers of scarf and military jackets.

Hey Lovelies ! 

I'm going to start a serie of where I'm going to talk about my celebrities inspirations. Every post is going to be a different celeb. Hope you enjoy it :)

First inspiration and probably my FAV, Kendall Jenner. She is obviously one of my role models. With such a young age, she accomplished so much already and it motivates me to pursue my dreams and my fashion career. Her style is pretty simple, she always follows trend but never does too much. You can see her wear a lot of crop top ( I am also obsessed with crops) to show off he model body. Here are a few of her most recent model off duty looks!

Most of her looks are 90s inspired, from the bomber jacket to the band tee and denim, she's always on point !
